The era we live in is frequently called “information era” because a rare person can succeed if he or she doesn’t take into regard current tendencies and knows about what is going on in the world.
That is why now press is influential as probably never before. Journalists turn to decide fate of some people even. Articles that flow any newspaper are not mere pieces of writing, they are reflections of life today. Businessmen, politicians, common clerks, economists, lawyers hardly get without press. Reading newspapers is what they often do in the morning. The point is that press, on the one hand, reflects public opinion. However, on the other hand, press is used to manipulate with public opinion. Some people claim that they ignore press and simply do not look there at all and they also point to that they do not lose anything with that. There is some grain of truth in this claim, although it is really difficult to imagine how one can get without reading press if one is the flood of social activity.
